A strong desire to undertake the trip is mandatory. Then there is consultation with spiritual guides and counselors who assist the soul in setting and defining objectives. They help in designing the plan, formulating strategy and preparing blueprints for the lifetime ahead. Next, the itinerary is drawn up, determining departure and round trip schedules. Will the incoming soul be delivered into the world as a new born baby to begin the process of assimilation from scratch? Or will it chose the process of transmigration as a "walk-in", arriving with fully loaded memory banks, ready to function at touchdown? If transmigration is the choice, then there are meetings and counseling sessions with karmic councils and guides to obtain the necessary permission and clearance to land.

With objectives and schedules in place, the focus is directed to the selection of the perfect conditions for expression. The earth's blueprints are scrutinized to identify the ideal period and the best location. Karmic patterns are taken into consideration, and balanced against the objectives. Individual as well as planetary astrological and zodiac charts must be studied. The tools and instruments best suited to the individual for the job of demolition and restructuring that is a lifetime on earth are then carefully selected. Racial memory, gender, environmental, cultural and economic conditions are weighed in the balance and a number of options identified. Physical features, demeanor and even bone structure are next identified.

The next stage in this intricate process is the observation and analysis of prospective parents and those who will form the nucleus of the circle of spiritual and earthly family and friends. Parents provide genealogy, and are chosen for their capacity and capability to foster the growth the soul needs. Parents become our first earthly guides, charged with the responsibility to channel the focus. The most effective parental guidance may not necessarily conform to the cosmetics of earthly parenting. Oftimes, parents are chosen purely for hereditary factors, with the reinforcement of guidance, direction and focus available through pre-selected individuals who are best suited to provide these influences. Those who have walked with us in past lives know us well and are therefore uniquely qualified to offer us the best possible opportunities for the soul's growth and development. Those who genuinely love us challenge us as well, and therefore constitute the best possible support system. Sometimes, by mutual agreement while in the spirit, we elect to play the role of devil's advocate in each other's lives.

With objectives, personnel, timing and surroundings identified, it is time to consider luggage. The incoming soul standing in the light of true understanding is fully conscious of all that it has amassed in the memory banks over several lifetimes. It also has access to the Akashic Record, the permanent, perpetual spiritual record containing all that is, has been and the potential for the future. What to store and what to take? How much can be forwarded ahead of time? The economic and wise use of limited space in the memory banks must be planned very carefully. Some gifts, talents and knowledge may already abound among those who constitute the family. Duplication is carefully avoided.

Material for storage is sent to the subconscious; the nine tenths of consciousness that will remain submerged during the lifetime. That which will be accessible is routed to the conscious stream. The subconscious is flagged with words, signs, symbols, vibratory patterns peculiar to the individual soul must be implanted which will become active parts of the signaling system. With perfect timing, the intuitive mind will release this information on a prescheduled timing gauge.

The foundation has been laid and the soul stands ready for programming. Approximately forty days before the scheduled date of arrival, the above factors are sorted, filed, tabbed, labeled and put in place in the consciousness levels. The stage is set, the sign posts of the lifetime have been put in place. Debugging takes place and icons are implanted. At this time, the spiritual support staff gather to beam signals into the system and install the chords of spiritual physical connection which will facilitate two-way communication while the soul is here on earth. There is a mixture of immense joy and sadness. Joy that the soul's long awaited conditions have presented themselves, and sadness because those in the spiritual realm know and understand the realities of life on the illusionary realm that is earth.

Those concepts and elements of the program which are crucial to the success of the lifetime are highlighted and much love and light is transmitted into the system. The soul remains conscious of all it knows until the moment of birth, when the system is sealed, and thus becomes the hard disc of life. The soul enters the earth trapped in the human condition that is a body, limited in what it is allowed to remember. The arduous journey of submission to the school that is life once more commences. Be gentle with yourselves. You chose the conditions of this trip to allow the beautiful seven petalled lotus that is the soul to unfold.
