He
holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Wright Sate University,
Dayton, Ohio, and is licensed in the District of Columbia (PSY1562).
He is professionally affiliated to the Association of Black
Psychologists.
Brenda E. Samuel worked for the District of Columbia Courts for thirty
years. She was involved in training all non-judicial staff in various
subjects. Ms. Samuel held several positions in the D.C. Courts:
Training Officer, Probation Officer, Community Worker, and Addictions
Alcohol/Drug Counselor for the probation department. Ms. Samuel is
presently the coordinator for the International Graduate University
addictions program and past coordinator at the University of the
District of Columbia Professional Counseling and Addictions Program,
and also is an adjunct professor.
Ms, Samuel graduated from Trinity College,
Washington, DC with a Bachelor of Arts in
Sociology/Criminal Justice, received a Masters Degree in
Counseling /Mental Health from the University of
the District of Columbia.
Ms. Samuel is an active member on several professional organizations
and chairperson of several organizations in the District and is an avid
reader.
